Lenovo unveils new Yoga Tab 3 and Yoga Tab 3 Pro at IFA Gadgets Show 2015


Lenovo has launched three new Yoga Tabs – Tab 3 (8-inch and 10 -inch variants) and Tab 3 Pro (10-inch).

The Yoga Tab 3 variants come with almost similar specs sheet, except for the display sizes. The 8-inch and 10-inch displays feature 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution. Both are powered by 1.3GHz Snapdragon 212 coupled with 1GB of RAM. The 16GB onboard storage is expandable via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, both come equipped with an 8-megapixel rotating camera. Owing to the display sizes, the Yoga Tab 3 8-inch is slimmer and lighter than the 10-inch model. Another differentiating factor is their battery – 8-inch models is fuelled by a 6200mAh battery and the 10-inch with a 8700mAh battery.

Both run Android 5.1 Lollipop, along with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and optional LTE.

The Yoga Tab 3 Pro sporting a 10.1-inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixels of resolution comes powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 quad-core clocked at 2.24GHz. It also includes 2GB of RAM. The specs sheet includes 13-megapixel rear snapper, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 10200mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro will be available in Puma Black, and the 8? and 10? Yoga Tab 3 in Slate Black.
